PLAIN OLD
ANDREA,WITH
A GUN

(2002)

“...a fascinating, ritualistic look at the cultural perils that arise from the refusal to communicate....And with its strong composition and inventive choreography, ‘“Plain Old Andrea”’ signals a fresh, vital presence on the Twin Cities dance scene.”

Star Tribune

Our individual stories of love and also of violent ill. Yes, I made this during a break-up. O! It was a terrible break-up. And yes, the simultaneous real life and fictional violence transformed into a work. A work that made me want every single story in the world told and retold, again and again. Tipping the world toward love, perhaps? Original music composed and performed by Lateduster.
